An ode to Asian cooking, in the heart of Amsterdam.

Lucky Duck is a personal take on Asian cuisine, shaped by years of travel across Thailand, Vietnam, China, India and Japan. The menu reflects what we found on those trips: from market stalls to back-kitchen tables.

Inside, an open kitchen sits at the heart of the room. Two floors, softly lit, with an interior built in collaboration with friends, family and craftsmen. The kind of place that is easy to step into, and easy to stay at.

On the menu: sushi, robata grill, curries and crafted cocktails. Street-food classics next to more refined plates. All made to be shared, always grounded, never precious.

Wauw! Zeer lekker gegeten in een fantastisch mooie setting! Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk. Tip: vraag zeker de cocktailkaart even bij het dessert, de cocktail met aardbei-chocolade was een heerlijke afsluiter!

Great find in central Amsterdam! The proprietor, Mara, gave us a very warm welcome. Like coming into someone's beautiful home. The sashimi melted in our mouths, the cocktails were fabulous and the Peking Duck was out of this world. Great place!!!
